Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, & Washington State Federal Primaries

Because the Presidential Primaries are over, voter turnout in August could be lower, making your vote even more impactful.The polls are still open today in four states: Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington state

Kansas:

02 Jeff Kahrs
Jeff Kahrs is a former Trump appointee who served in HHS in the first Trump administration. Kahrs and former State Attorney General Derek Schmidt are the top to contenders in a five-way primary. While President Trump has endorsed Schmidt, citing that Schmidt has won statewide office before, many stalwart conservatives believe pro-life, conservative Jeff Kahrs is the more solid MAGA candidate. Either candidate can win the general in this Republican-favoring state.

Michigan:

03 Michael Markey Jr.
Michael Markey, is a Republican conservative who defended the alternate electors’ slate and said that the investigation by the state’s Democrat attorney general, Dana Nessel, “should be concerning for all Michiganders across the state. Election integrity is important, but we secure our elections through legislation, not political prosecutions against our opponents.” Markey is running against Justin Amash who left the Republican Party after voting to impeach Trump in 2019, but who is now running as a Republican again.

08 Paul Junge
Junge is a former criminal prosecutor and a TV news anchor who served in the Trump administration at the Department of Homeland Security working to secure the border. Paul Junge has President Trump’s endorsement.

Missouri:

U.S. Senate Josh Hawley
Senator Josh Hawley is unopposed in the Republican Senate Primary, but Missouri has an open Republican Congressional seat on the ballot.

MO 03 Bob Onder
Bob Onder is a doctor and former Missouri state senator. In the state senate Onder was a staunch leader in the Senate Conservative Caucus. Endorsed by President Trump, Onder is the battle-tested MAGA leader Missouri should send to Congress. Retiring Congressman Luetkemeyer has endorsed another, less conservative candidate in this crowded six-way primary.

Washington State:

WA 03 Joe Kent
Joe Kent is seeking a rematch against Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez after his narrow 2022 general election loss. In Washington, the two top vote-getters in the primary face off against each other in November regardless of party. Joe Kent is a solid MAGA conservative military combat veteran. President Trump endorsed in 2022 (when Kevin McCarthy worked behind the scenes to defeat Kent) and again in this 2024 primary.
